Getting to know the Modbus TCP integration of HARDY 6200 weight processor with Optix Edge. Build your own FT Optix Faceplate on a snap to get weight readings. You can download the code from here https://github.com/xavierflorensa/FactoryTalk_Optix_HARDY_6200_Modbus

(00:01) Hi everybody. In this video, I will explain you how to develop an optics face plate for the Hardy white processor since this is not already implemented and how to do it in Modbus TCP and using the optics H to make the all the process. So if we take a look at the application here we have the mod bar registers grid and here we have in floating point the weight in rounds.
(00:46) I take the weight away you get zero for one can make the you put the weight again. So how is this done? You can take a look at the application with the face plate and with some first of fault communication drivers in modbus mod bus station driver. This is the IP address of the weight processor and on tax you have to read the mobile registers in address six for the net weight and in address eight for weight.
(01:47) Um and then you also have from variables perform the float point and then some that logic perform the converting from decimal to floating point. Here you have this net logic perform this operation. You can find this code on the on GitHub will give you the link. So here we take the mode bus readings and perform a decimal to floating point
(02:54) conversion. And finally we just open the values. So this is how it’s installed and thank you very much for your attention. I hope you enjoy. Bye-bye.
